EPA approves new refrigerants

The EPA issued a notice of new acceptable refrigerants in late October. These include R-1224yd(Z) for use in in centrifugal and positive displacement chillers, and new and retrofitted industrial process refrigeration, and R-407H for use in multiple refrigeration and air conditioning end-uses. Final details will be available when the Federal Register notice is published.
