New EPA rule lightening HFC restrictions in final review
At the same time numerous states are looking to regulate HFCs, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) draft regulation rescinding Obama-era rules to scale back hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) restrictions is in final review by the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). OMB review is the final step in the regulatory process before EPA can sign and publish the new rule in the Federal Register.
