CA greenhouse gas inventory data now available

The 2016 greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventory is now available on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) website. The updated inventory includes estimation of GHG emissions for years 2000-2016 and several refinements to the emissions estimation methods and data sources since the earlier edition. Accompanying the GHG inventory data is the “Trends of Emissions and Other Indicators” report, which explains trends in statewide GHG emissions from major sectors. California Assembly Bill 32 required CARB to approve a statewide greenhouse gas emissions limit, equal to the 1990 level, to be achieved by 2020.
