U.S. DOE Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products and Industrial Equipment

This webinar, presented in October 2016, by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), explains the U.S. energy conservation standards, which apply to a wide range of products and equipment (other than motors), including consumer appliances and electronics, lighting products, plumbing products, as well as commercial and industrial equipment. Also discussed are the requirements for testing these products and the requirements for submitting compliance certification reports, which must be completed before a product may be legally imported into the United States. The webinar provides valuable information to manufacturers, laboratories and other facilities that test products and submit certifications to DOE as third-party representatives.
