China opens trade talks with neighbors

CNA Asian News Network reports that China is pursuing trade-related talks with Japan and South Korea amid trade tensions with the U.S. China has offered to further open its service industry to Japan. China also shared interest in building a rail network linking it with Korea and Europe. The three countries also discussed a potential free-trade agreement.
