DOE issues RFP to address recycling, reuse and remanufacturing challenges
Approximately $35 million is available to support research and development to enable U.S. manufacturers to increase the recovery, recycling, reuse and remanufacturing of plastics, metals, electronic waste and fibers. The Request for Proposals from DOE’s Reducing EM-bodied-Energy and Decreasing Emissions (REMADE) Manufacturing Institute requires matching dollars from participants. Proposals are due Sept. 14 and must align with the REMADE Roadmap.
