NAFEM is strong because of our members and we’re creating a showcase to laud your achievements. So tell us, are you enhancing your product/manufacturing capabilities? Adding employees? Increasing your footprint? See what NAFEM members have been up to and send us the information to be featured.
This NAFEM member company, based in a 150,000-sq. ft. facility in Clifton, N.J., and founded in 1946, increased its manufacturing operation with a 56,000-sq. ft. facility in Savannah, Tennessee. According to Wayne Phillips, president and third generation, the company added both new space and new capabilities. The Tennessee factory produces front-of-the-house millwork incorporating wood, stainless steel and solid surfaces. Historically, Aero focused on back-of-the-house equipment so the new space complements and enhances Aero’s product line.
Located on the Tennessee River, Savannah has a long history of business and commerce. Aero was able to take advantage of a skilled, multi-generational workforce which contributed to an easy transition when opening the new location. The company continues to invest in the latest technologies in solid modeling, robotics, and lasers and has added installation to the list of products and services they provide. Aero manufactures custom and production fabrication for foodservice equipment for full-service restaurants, restaurant consultants, quick serve restaurants, convenience stores, hotels, kiosks, schools and stadiums.
