Member DashboardNAFEM regularly joins forces with other organizations to advance the industry’s perspective with elected and appointed officials. Highlights of recent outreach include:
- NAFEM joined manufacturers advocating with the U.S. Trade Representative to not impose port fees on Chinese-relating ships calling on U.S. ports, to avoid higher prices for importers/ exporters.
- Leading up to the passage of the H.R. 1 budget reconciliation law known as One Big Beautiful Bill, NAFEM advocated for inclusion of provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including reinstating and making permanent the 20% pass-through deduction, maintaining current individual rate levels, restoring and making R&D expensing permanent, as well as 100% expensing. All were included in the final legislation.
