Representatives from NAFEM and six member companies, met with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, and the House Committee on Energy and Commerce Jan. 8 in Washington, D.C.
During the DOE meeting, the group provided an industry overview, explained engineering product planning cycles, and how commercial foodservice equipment manufacturers apply energy-conservation standards during product development.
