Employee engagement is an important predictor of company success. In its annual State of the Global Workforce Report, Gallup showcases how increasing employee stress is impacting productivity and performance. Fortunately, Gallup found employee engagement at its highest levels since the company began measuring in 2009. Even so, 59% of employees report “quiet quitting,” or disengaging at work. Gallup estimates that low engagement costs the global economy USD$8.8 trillion annually.
