NEC updates requirements for Other Than Dwellings 

The 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) 210.8(B) that provides GFCI protection requirements for specific receptacles in “other than dwellings” has changed to include areas with a sink and permanent provisions for either food preparation and cooking. This can include locations such as coffee shops with any type of built-in appliance or microwave.
