Manufacturing podcast covers recent U.S. Steel news and more

A path forward for U.S. Steel is uncertain following the Biden administration block of the  acquisition by Japan’s Nippon Steel. President-elect Trump also has previously stated his opposition to the acquisition. This blocked deal is the subject of a recent episode of the podcast Talking With One Voice, a manufacturing industry advocacy podcast produced by the National Tooling and Machining Association and the Precision Metalforming Association, together known as One Voice for Manufacturing. At least monthly, the One Voice advocacy team in Washington, D.C. – Paul Nathanson and Caitlin Sickles from the Policy Resolution Group at Bracewell LLP, and John Guzik and Omar Nashashibi from the Franklin Partnership, breakdown how the latest news in Washington impacts U.S. manufacturing businesses. Topics include workforce development, taxes, trade, health care and regulation. NAFEM members will recognize Paul Nathanson from his work with the Coalition of American Metal Manufacturers and Users (CAMMU). Talking With One voice is available wherever you access podcasts.
