Member DashboardNAFEM regularly joins forces with other organizations to advance the industry’s perspective with elected and appointed officials. During a recent outreach effort, NAFEM:
- Providing feedback to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on the current process for reviewing inclusions in the Section 232 steel and aluminum tariffs, especially for derivative products. NAFEM joined other association members of the National Foreign Trade Council in commenting on the short amount of time – and no public hearings – to provide meaningful input on proposed changes. These and other concerns could trigger significant supply chain disruptions across multiple sectors, including those important to national security.
