Amplifying Members’ Voices

NAFEM regularly works with other organizations to advance the industry’s perspective with elected and appointed officials. Recently, NAFEM:

  • NAFEM and more than 80 industry organizations urged the EPA to structure the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) PFAS reporting requirements to support effective compliance and minimize unnecessary operational burden. The letter calls for practical exemptions, clear implementation guidance, a fully tested reporting platform, and sufficient lead time for companies to prepare and submit accurate, complete data.
  • Joined more than 50 manufacturers and industry groups in urging Congress to remove provisions from the FY 2027 National Defense Authorization Act that would restrict defense contractors’ access to capital and expand government rights to contractor intellectual property. The signatories said the provisions could discourage investment, innovation and participation in defense contracting.
