EPA sends proposed HFC phasedowns to OMB for review

The U.S. Environmental Protect Agency (EPA) sent proposed hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) phasedowns for 2024 and beyond to the Office of Management and Budget for review as required under the AIM Act. The Act mandates the phasedown of HFCs by 85 percent by 2036. NAFEM expects the proposal to be made public in the fall.
