Oregon proposes energy efficiency standards for appliances

Oregon’s Department of Energy (ODOE) held a public hearing July 23 on proposed energy efficiency standards for 10 appliance categories, including commercial fryers, dishwashers and steam cookers, as well as faucets. ODOE also plans to update its standards for water coolers. Draft standards are here. NAFEM will continue to monitor and report on these activities.
